One Sabbath day, Jesus went to the temple. He taught with authority and ordered an evil spirit to leave a man. Then He visited Simon’s house, where He healed Simon’s mother-in-law, who then prepared a meal. After sunset, many sick and demon-possessed where brought to Jesus. The whole town watched as He healed them. Before daybreak the next morning, Jesus got up and went to an isolated place to pray (form Mark 1:21-35).
Those who serve others need time to be alone with God.
