God’s Response to the Prayers of Amos

Amos saw God’s plan and prayed: “O Sovereign Lord, please forgive us or we will not survive.”

And the Lord said “I will not do it.”

Amos saw God’s next plan and prayed again: “O Sovereign Lord,  please stop or we will not survive.”

And the Lord said, “I will not do that either (from Amos 7:1-6).”

God responds when people pray.
