Micah’s Prayerful Response to Evil

This was written long ago, but it could have been written about today: “Their hands are on what is evil to do it well (Micah 7:3).” The story tells Micah’s righteous response: “As for me, I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me (Micah 7:7).*

If we choose a prayerful response to evil, what was written about Micah could be written about us: “Though they lived in evil times, they looked to the Lord, waiting, watching, praying.”

Someone texted this verse to me, suggesting I pass it on to you. Thank you, sweet sister.
