God’s people had been unfaithful. The king commanded them to cleanse the temple. Then they made sin offerings. After that they brought thank offerings and sacrifices to God (read the story in 2 Chronicles 29).
Follow their example if you have been unfaithful. Stop your sinning, make restitution, be thankful for God’s forgiveness and present your bodies a living sacrifice (Romans 12:1).
