Responsibility in Prayer

I often ask God to “Set a guard over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips” (Psalm 141:3).

It’s helpful if I determine to “Let no corrupting talk come out of my mouth, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion” (from Ephesians 4:29).

We’re responsible to do our part when we pray.
