I cannot take away your grief. Life is hard and sometimes full of sorrow.
But I can encourage you to pray to the God of all comfort. He is familiar with suffering and acquainted with grief (2 Corinthians 1:3; Isaiah 53:3).

You cannot give me comfort,
but with me, you can cry
for I’ve received the doc’s report
that says I’m gonna die.
I do not really want to go
(though they say Heaven’s neat),
because, as I guess you know
my life here’s really sweet.
Sure, there is a lot of pain
(you are hard to deceive!)
but I would just as soon remain
although it’s hard to breathe,
so take my hand and sit with me
in the forecourt of Eternity.
Sit with me. That’s good comfort.
Yes and Amen. God bless fmf #2
God bless you too!
I have no idea how I would have survived grief without him.
Those who know grief well can also know God well.
Visiting as your FMF neighbor. Short, sweet … and to the point!
He surely is. #7
