How do you think David would have said that? For context, we know he was in distress as he prayed. His spirit was overwhelmed, his heart appalled.

Great question. I believe that David was quite emotional when he prayed those words. If it were me, I too would likely not have been whispering to God. It’s quite the scripture when we stop and think about it. Thanks for posting.
