My favorite bookmark went missing. I prayed and looked everywhere but did not find it.
A week later I misplaced my phone. I prayed, and found the bookmark and my phone in the very first place I looked.
Always pray. Do not give up (from Luke 18:1). You never know when God will answer your prayer.
Jesus wanted the disciples to watch and pray with him (see Mark 14:37-38).
He wants us to watch and pray with him. Never stop praying (1 Thessalonians 5:17).
When I asked my friend about his time with God, he said, “In my country, evil never sleeps. A morning prayer time isn’t enough. I reflect on what’s hidden in my heart all day long. I need God every minute.”
It’s kind of like breathing. You can’t fill up with oxygen and live on it for the rest of the day. You breathe in and out, all day long.
I have set the Lord always before me. Because He is at my right hand I will not be shaken (Psalm 16:8).
