Children were brought to Jesus that he might lay his hands on them and pray. The disciples rebuked the people, but Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” And he laid hands on them (from Matthew 19:13-15).
If you want to be like Jesus, pray for children.
A baby girl was born this week. She’s special to us. She’s our granddaughter. We love her very much.
We feel God’s love. How very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children (1 John 3:1).
His love gives me reason to pray.
As you pray for children, remember Jesus loves them.
Their angels in heaven continually see the face of [our] Father who is in heaven (Matthew 18:10).
These angels, mighty in strength, do what God says (from Psalm 103:20).
