Christmas is a celebration of Jesus, who came to earth, as a baby, to “save his people from their sins (Matthew 1:21).”
Christmas is a reminder that Jesus is coming back to earth, as a conquering King. “For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God (1 Thessalonians 4:16).”
This Christmas pray with anticipation of Christ’s return.
Christmas is a celebration of Jesus’ birth. For to you is born this day a Savior, who is Christ the Lord (from Luke 2:11).
Christmas is also a reminder that Jesus will be back. The Lord himself will descend from heaven (1 Thessalonians 4:16).
Waiting, we pray, “Come, Lord Jesus” (Revelation 22:20).
Man sinned.
Christ came.
Christ died.
Christ rose.
Conquered sin.
Now offering eternal life
To those who believe.
Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved (Romans 10:13).
