I often pray for wisdom (see James 1:5). Until I read this definition, I didn’t know all that I was asking.
Wisdom* is:
~varied knowledge of things human and divine, acquired by acuteness and experience
~skill in the management of affairs
~devout and proper prudence in intercourse with men
~knowledge and practice of the requisites for godly and upright living
Our lack of understanding doesn’t limit God’s answers to our prayers.
