Uzziah’s Story

“As long as Uzziah sought the Lord, God made him prosper. . . . But when he was strong, he grew proud, to his destruction“ (from 2 Chronicles 26:5-16).

Lesson for us: “Remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth” (Deuteronomy 8:18).

People who remember God pray.

Remember the Lord your God. He is the one who gives you the power to be successful (Deuteronomy 8:18).

Study the Bible continually. Be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed (from Joshua 1:8).

Never stop praying (1 Thessalonians 5:17).
