Pray with perseverance.
Though he will not rise and give to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence he will rise and give him as many as he needs. And I say to you ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
Pray with forgiveness.
Whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive your trespasses (Mark 11:25).
Pray in humility.
The tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast saying, “God, be merciful to me a sinner!” I tell you, this man went down to his house justified . . . he who humbles himself will be exalted (Luke 18:13-14).
Pray in righteousness.
For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayers.
(1 Peter 3:12)
Pray in sincerity.
If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sins and heal their land (2 Chronicles 7:14).
Pray in faith.
And all things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive (Matthew 21:22).
Pray in the name of Jesus.
Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you (John 16:23).
