Dependent Prayer – 2

Dependent prayer “is necessary because we are engaged in mission against immeasurably superior forces.”*

We wrestle “against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 6:12).

Perspective

The people we struggle with aren’t the enemy.  We don’t fight against flesh-and-blood (from Ephesians 6:12).

Humble yourself before God (through prayer), resist the devil and he will flee from you (from James 4:7).
