God Hears the Fatherless

Wandering, thirsty, and alone; left to die, the boy prayed.

“God heard the voice of the boy. . . . And God was with the boy. . . . He lived and became an expert . . . (Genesis 21:17-20).“

God is the Father of the fatherless (Psalm 68:5).

The One who pleads for the Fatherless

So many students in inner city schools don’t know their dads.

But the Redeemer of the fatherless is strong, he will plead their cause (from Proverbs 23:10-11).

Those who pray for them work with God.
