God’s Care in the midst of God’s Denial

Our baby was born with Strep B, so when I got pregnant again, I prayed every single day that our next baby would be born healthy.

But she was born with Strep B.

Our first grandson was born prematurely. After his birth I prayed that our next grandson would be full term.

But he was born prematurely.

God did not give what I requested, but we can see “God’s care in the midst of God’s denial.”*

God’s Constant Care

We were at the zoo. I read this sign: Wherever we go in the world, we can watch and listen to birds. . . . Birds thrive in every environment.

I remembered what Jesus said; Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they (Matthew 6:26)?

We can thrive wherever we live, because God constantly cares for us.

Do not be anxious. Pray.
