God said, “You thought I didn’t care (Psalm 50:21 NLT).”
He also said, “I have loved you with an everlasting love, with unfailing love I have drawn you to myself (from Jeremiah 31:3 NLT).”
Let God’s love motivate your prayers.
God said, “You thought I didn’t care (Psalm 50:21 NLT).”
He also said, “I have loved you with an everlasting love, with unfailing love I have drawn you to myself (from Jeremiah 31:3 NLT).”
Let God’s love motivate your prayers.
God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5).
Pour out your heart like water before the presence of the Lord (Lamentations 2:19).
Love-filled prayers flow freely from hearts filled with God’s love.
“A glorious throne set on high from the beginning is the place of our sanctuary (Jeremiah 17:12).”
We enter God’s throne room and know love beyond measure. We see His glory, above all else. That is why we pray.
Jesus said, “Follow me (Matthew 9:9).”
Yet when a ruler knelt before him, saying, “‘My daughter just died, but come lay your hand on her and she will live,’ Jesus rose and followed him (from Matthew 9:18-19).”
The God we follow responds to prayer with humility, kindness and love.
God is near.
Nothing
not death
not life
not the present
not the future
Nothing
separates us
from God’s love.
No matter what
God is there.
No matter what
you can pray.
Give thanks to the God of heaven, for his steadfast love endures forever (Psalm 136:26).
Because of this love, God answers our prayers. He gives what we need. He gives what is best.
God is love and love covers a multitude of sins (1 John 4:16; 1 Peter 4:8).
We pray, knowing God forgives sin.
I sat, reading. This verse jumped out at me: We have thought on your steadfast love, O God (Psalm 48:9).
I let Scripture guide my thoughts as I pondered God’s love. I listened and believed: God is love (1 John 4:16).
That is prayer.
Every answer to prayer is a demonstration of God’s love.
Pray believing God loves you.
The Father’s motive for allowing believers access to Him is that He loves them. Because of that they can boldly and fearlessly enter His presence in complete confidence, as children for whom He cares deeply.*
Because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, “Abba, Father” (Galatians 4:6).
