This is what the Lord says: I would no more reject my people than I would change my laws that govern night and day, earth and sky (Jeremiah 33:25).
The sun, the sky, the sea, the earth are visible reminders of God’s constant love.
Remember that when you pray.
I had a prayer page for unborn Baby in my journal. Every day I asked that Baby’s life would be a picture of God’s unfailing love.
When we learned that Baby’s home was heaven, I went to a quiet place and opened my Bible to Psalm 136. Each of it’s twenty-six verses promises, “His steadfast love endures forever.”
No matter what. No matter why. No matter where, or when, or how. His steadfast love endures forever.
Baby’s life is a picture of God’s unfailing love, even if and especially because Baby’s home is heaven.
I have thought on God’s steadfast love. I trust in God’s steadfast love, that endures all the day (from Psalm 48:9; 52:1,8).
I pray, “Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love (Psalm 51:1).”
