I spent last week with two of my granddaughters. Every time Kezi* put on her coat to go outside, she said, “This is the coat you gave me, Grandma.”
I gave her that coat last year.
When you pray, remember God’s gifts. God richly provides us with everything (1 Timothy 6:17).
*Kezi is 2 years old.
I urge that thanksgivings be made for all people (from 1 Timothy 2:1).
Pray with gratitude to God for the gospel and for those who will respond with faith and repentance.*

My friend seemed sad. I asked her why. She said, “I served them for a year and no one ever said thank you. They don’t know how much I did for them.”
Pray with a grateful heart. We’ll never understand all God does for us.
