I passed bright green bushes and pale purple pansies on my walk to the store.
I savored sweet smelling lilacs.
But the grocery store, a few steps beyond these flowers, was boarded up and closed.
If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land (2 Chronicles 7:14).
They recognized Jesus and ran about to bring sick people to wherever they heard he was (from Mark 6:54-55).
Can you picture that?
When we pray for others, we’re bringing them to Jesus.
Sometimes pain is too deep for words. Sometimes you don’t know what to pray.
You can use what the Bible says about God to inform your prayers for healing of body, heart, mind or soul.
Read: I am the Lord who heals you (Exodus 15:26).
Think: The Lord is a God who heals.
Believe: The Lord can heal me.
Say: The Lord is the God who heals.
Pray: Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed (Jeremiah 17:9).
