One yellow daffodil outside a brick building. Alone.
When you are alone, remember God has said: “I will never leave you or forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).”
He is always there to hear your prayer.

Due to circumstances beyond his control, a winsome young man has found himself in a disappointing job. Day after day he enters a prison-like gray cubicle. He doesn’t see sunshine. Or clouds.
He struggled with depression. Until now. Every morning he enters his cubicle and pauses to imagine Jesus. Sitting there. Waiting for him.
He is finding joy.
The Lord has said, “I will never leave you or forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).”
David felt that way, so he prayed: “I cry by day, but you do not answer, and by night, but I find no rest” (Psalm 22:2).
He also prayed truth: “You are holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel. In you our fathers trusted; they trusted and you delivered them” (Psalm 22:3-4).
Pray honestly, and remember what’s true. God “has said, ‘I will never leave you or forsake you’ ” (Hebrews 13:5).
