People who depend on God know that apart from Him “we can do nothing (John 15:5).”

They also know that “every good gift is from above, coming down from the Father (James 1:17).”

That’s why their prayers are full of thanksgiving.

With God we accomplish much. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13).

We were without electricity for 29 hours. Our lights would not, could not, shine.
