Claim God’s Promise of Comfort

God promises those who mourn will be comforted (Matthew 5:4).

Though it does not take away the loss, God’s comfort soothes, like aloe on newly burned skin.

We pray to the God who is the source of all comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3).

For Those Who Mourn

As you pray, you’ll know God’s presence. In all their affliction He was afflicted, and the angel of His presence saved them (Isaiah 63:9).

As you pray, you’ll believe God’s promise. He will swallow up death for all time, and the Lord God will wipe tears away from all faces (Isaiah 25:8).
