What Jesus said about prayer – 10

Jesus said, “Always pray. Do not lose heart (from Luke 18:1).”

Keep praying. Never leave off praying until you get it, until prayer is lost in praise.*

Persistence

We turned down the first two offers they made on our house because they were contingent. Then they found a buyer and made another offer. We accepted it.

When the contract on their house fell through they asked for time to sell their house. We said yes, even though we didn’t want a contingent offer.

This story, like the one about the widow who kept coming to the judge until he granted her request, reminds us that we should always pray and never give up (Luke 18:1).
