We pray to One who listens

The Lord our God, enthroned on high, stoops down to look and listen when we cry (from Psalm 113:5-6; 116:1-2).

That is why we pray.

What I’ve Learned About Prayer from my Husband: God Listens.

My husband listens, patiently, thoughtfully, kindly.

Because of him, I see the Lord.

He bends down to listen because he hears my voice (from Psalm 116:1-2).

The Lord Looks and Listens

When he fell on his knees, Jesus looked at him and loved him (from Mark 10:17-21).

The Lord bends down to listen when he hears your voice (from Psalm 116:1-2).

Picture Jesus looking and listening as you pray.
