Sacrifice

I read this: “Offer right sacrifices” (Psalm 4:5) and wondered what God wants from me.

Then I read this: “I prepare a sacrifice for you and watch” (Psalm 5:3).

After that I remembered we’re told to present our “bodies a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God”  (Romans 12:1).

Prayer is preparing yourself to be a living sacrifice for God.
