Long ago “people began to call upon the name of the Lord (Genesis 4:26).”
Today anyone and “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved (Romans 10:13).”
“There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).”
On May 16, 2017, a beloved friend passed into eternity. We miss her. A lot.
Yet we know she is with the Lord.
How can we be so certain?
Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved (Romans 10:13).
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal live (John 3:16).
Man sinned.
Christ came.
Christ died.
Christ rose.
Conquered sin.
Now offering eternal life
To those who believe.
Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved (Romans 10:13).
And He is still called Jesus.
He listens when speak his name.

Read it and believe it.

She was born. She lived. She died.
But her story isn’t finished.
She trusted Jesus, who said, “Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live (John 11:25).”
