They named him Emmanuel.
God with us.
We wanted him here
Hoped today
Would be his birth day.
But Emmanuel is with God.
We miss him.
Silently, his life speaks
God is with us.
We have this Promise
Eternal Life.
Us with God.
God with us.
Together forever.
We wanted him here.
But Jesus took him there.
We had to let him go
Even though we love him so.
We are very, very sad
But Promise is with Jesus.
For this we are glad.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16).
Here’s what she wrote: “On Valentine’s Day 2021, I gave birth to a baby boy. It was probably the hardest thing I have ever done since he was 18 weeks 5 days along. My journey is fresh, it it real, it is hard, but I am not alone. I am loved, I am surrounded by prayer, and I have hope.”*
