At the end of our days may we, like Jacob, be able to say, “God has been my shepherd all my life long to this day (Genesis 48:15).”
This marriage advice applies to prayer: Do whatever will help you serve the Lord best, with as few distractions as possible (1 Corinthians 7:35).*
Find a time and place to pray, away from what divides your attention and prevents concentration.
