Why God Answers Prayer

Answer me, O Lord, for your steadfast love is good; according to your abundant mercy, turn to me (Psalm 69:18).

God answers prayer because of who He is.

Solomon’s Prayer of Dedication, Part 1

Solomon understood one reason that God answers prayer. He prayed, “When foreigners pray, hear them, and grant what they ask of you. In this way, all the people of the earth will come to know and fear you (from 1 Kings 8:41-43).”

God answers prayer so we can know Him.
